The Lucify.ch team attended the round table on „Daily Racism“ in the city of Neuchâtel, where prominent feminist activists who also fight against racism, addressed from their own experiences the way they are exposed to almost imperceptible forms of this problem in a country like Switzerland.
The speakers expressed their opinions about daily racism in Switzerland, the ways in which they face this situation on a day-to-day basis, as well as the difficulties faced by people with migratory origins to carry out complaints related to racist acts.
At the same time these committed women, made a call to continue talking loudly about racism and display acts of the everyday racism. They consider that racist acts should not be silenced or hidden, as well as invite society in general to be aware about racism which is still alive despite laws and jurisprudence that is linked with difficulties, especially for those who want to denounce racist acts.
This panel took place during the Week Against Racism in Neuchâtel.
